Bollywood Retro Live Painting and Auction Event at Pacific Mall NSP-Pitampura Celebrates Art, Culture, and Charity

New Delhi – Pacific Mall, NSP-Pitampura, in collaboration with ImageNation Street Art, hosted a spectacular live painting event on the theme of *Bollywood Retro*, bringing together 40 talented artists for an immersive cultural experience. From 2 to 5 pm, visitors were treated to the mesmerizing sight of artists creating vibrant masterpieces that paid homage to iconic moments in Bollywood history. The event concluded with a live auction of the works, with proceeds benefiting NGO Rahi.

The event, which was free and open to the public, attracted a large crowd, all captivated by the synergy of creativity, nostalgia, and live art. The artists skillfully brought retro Bollywood to life, recreating memorable cinematic moments through dynamic, bold, and visually striking interpretations. The live auction that followed saw art lovers and cinema enthusiasts bid enthusiastically, knowing their contributions would go toward a noble cause.

Ashwani Kumar Prithviwasi, Founder and Principal of the Delhi Collage of Art, was one of the esteemed guests at the event. Reflecting on the enduring appeal of Bollywood’s retro aesthetic, Prithviwasi remarked, “Bollywood retro style remains a vital source of inspiration for contemporary visual artists. Its vibrant aesthetic, iconic imagery, and timeless themes resonate with today’s audiences, offering a bridge between cultural heritage and modern expression.”

Film critic and historian Murtaza Ali Khan, who also graced the occasion, expressed his admiration for the event, stating, “Bollywood Retro is a celebration of the fusion between art and the timeless charm of retro Bollywood. Bringing together 40 talented artists, the live painting and auction not only showcased creative interpretations of iconic Bollywood moments but also offered a unique platform for art lovers and cinema enthusiasts alike. Aakshat Sinha’s passion for merging art with popular culture has truly elevated this event.”

The event was curated by Aakshat Sinha, the visionary behind ImageNation Street Art, whose dedication to blending art with popular culture was evident in every detail of the day.
