Friendship with the virtuous is the fundamental spirit
We have progressed on the strength of society’s love and the sentiment of goodness, and moved forward on the trust of our workers. The Sangh faced opposition; it still does today. However, without harboring bitterness towards the opponents, the Sangh’s swayamsevaks continued to advance. Friendship with the virtuous and awakening the power of the virtuous has remained our fundamental spirit. Times have changed, circumstances have changed; but keeping the same direction, the Sangh continues to move forward. Across the country, more than 1.3 lakh service activities are underway with the cooperation of society. On the occasion of the centenary year, the Sangh is making efforts to expand this further on a wider scale.
Dr. Mohan Bhagwat Ji said on this occasion that the Sangh works to create and make nationwide examples of honest with noble characters who work selflessly, participate in everyone’s joys and sorrows, in every locality and every village.
