Chief Minister Shri Sai underscored the Chhattisgarh Government’s dedication to good governance and transparency
New Delhi : Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai participated in the Sushasan Samvad program held at Ashoka Hotel in New Delhi on July 18. He underscored his government’s dedication to good governance and transparency, detailing the various efforts taken to implement effective policies for the state’s welfare and development.
During the Sushasan Samvad program, marking six months of his government, Chief Minister Shri Sai highlighted the achievements and initiatives undertaken. He noted that the biggest challenge for the BJP government was maintaining the trust of the people. He stated that within just 100 days, the government succeeded in restoring this trust by fulfilling the guarantees promised by Shri Modi ji in the state manifesto.
Chief Minister Shri Sai addressed various public questions, emphasising that his administration had effectively eliminated systemic corruption and revenue loss prevalent under the previous government. He mentioned that public works are now being carried out smoothly, discouraging those who previously benefitted from commissions. He affirmed, “Both the intention and policy of our government are right.”
Focusing on efforts against Naxalism, he stated, “Our government has made significant strides in strengthening security in Naxal-affected areas. We have established security camps in these areas and accelerated development works, achieving substantial success not only in security but also in development.”
During the program, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai emphasised the numerous steps his government has taken to promote transparency and good governance in Chhattisgarh. He stated, “We have simplified and made administrative processes transparent so that the public can quickly and effectively find solutions to their problems.”
Highlighting his government’s achievements, Chief Minister Shri Sai stated that immediately upon taking office, they provided Pradhan Mantri Awas to 18,12,743 needy families, as guaranteed by Shri Modi ji. Farmers received two years of pending paddy bonuses, and paddy purchase commenced at the promised rate of Rs 3100 per quintal, with a limit of up to 21 quintals per acre. Under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, financial assistance of Rs 1000 per month is being provided to women in the state. The remuneration rate for tendupatta collection has been increased from Rs 4000 to Rs 5500 per standard sack.
Chief Minister Sai stated that his government has brought substantial development and good governance to the state, taking significant steps to enhance security. He stated, “We are adding value and preparing for our vision of Chhattisgarh’s future. We have initiated numerous new projects for the state’s development and are providing all necessary facilities to the public.”
Sharing his vision and plans during the Sushasan Samvad program, Chief Minister Shri Sai affirmed his government’s unwavering commitment to the state’s development and public interest. He stated, “We are continuously working towards making Chhattisgarh a model state.”
