Brigadier Amar Singh Rathore, Chairman & Managing Director, FCI Aravali Gypsum & Minerals India Limited, a Central Government Public Sector Undertaking, under the Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers presented a dividend cheque of Rs. 12,84,00,000/-(Rupees Twelve Crore Eight four lakh only) to the Hon’ble Minister of Chemical & Fertilizers, ShriJagatPrakashNadda.

The Hon’ble Minister appreciated the results achieved by the Company. The Hon’ble Minister also expressed the hope that the Company will grow exponentially and contribute to the growth of economy and generate higher dividends in coming years. On this occasion, the CMD informed that the Company is in the process of diversifying into mineral exploration and mining of minerals other than Gypsum.

78th Independence Day Celebrated with Enthusiasm by All ITBP Formations

The 78th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervor across all formations of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP). Director General Sh. Rahul Rasgotra, IPS, led the flag hoisting ceremony at Galwan (5th Battalion, NW Frontier) and addressed the troops.

At the Headquarters, IG Sh. Jaspal Singh presided over the ceremony, extending Independence Day greetings to all officers and personnel.

ITBP’s various formations, whether stationed at 18,000 feet or in the plains, celebrated the national festival with pride. The occasion also saw the taking of the pledge for a “Drug-Free India.”

ITBP demonstrated its unwavering dedication and patriotism in commemorating this significant day.

Emmy-Nominated Filmmaker Tirlok Malik’s On Golden Years to be shown at Prestigious Teaneck Film Festival 2024 on November 10

Teaneck, NJ – Emmy-nominated filmmaker Tirlok Malik’s celebrated film ‘On Golden Years,’ will be showcased at the prestigious Teaneck International Film Festival 2024 on Sunday, November 10, at 11:30 AM at Teaneck Cinemas (503 Cedar Lane, Teaneck, NJ 07666).

‘On Golden Years’ is a major highlight in Malik’s career, known for exploring the immigrant experience in America through films such as ‘Lonely in America,’ ‘Khushiyaan,’ and ‘Love Lust and Marriage.’ During his illustrious career, Tirlok Malik has worked with industry stalwarts like Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Mammootty, Sunny Deol, and Kangana Ranaut, among others. Malik, along with the cast of ‘On Golden Years,’ will be present for a special Q&A session following the screening at the Teaneck Film Festival 2024.

‘On Golden Years’ also boasts the film debut of the Grammy Award-winning Indian-American singer Falu, who performs the item number song ‘Raba Raba.’ Falu had previously performed at prestigious venues like Carnegie Hall and The White House in the presence of President Barack Obama and Oprah Winfrey, alongside music legend A.R. Rahman. Falu’s ‘Abundance in Millets’ song featuring the Indian PM Narendra Modi was also recently nominated for Grammy.

‘On Golden Years’ is an 85-minute romantic comedy-drama that delves into the complex emotions immigrants face when they reach the retirement phase of the American Dream. The film is set in Shantiniketan, the only Indian retirement community in the United States, located in Florida. Through its relatable characters and emotional storylines, the film explores themes of aging, identity, and reconciliation between regrets and contentment. It asks the poignant question: Where do we truly belong at the end of life’s journey?

The film stars Ranjit Chowdhry, the iconic actor known for his performances in ‘Lonely in America’ and ‘The Office,’ Jyoti Singh, Reeves Lehmann, Shetal Shah, Noor Naghmi, Prof. Indrajit S Saluja, and Tirlok Malik himself. The film also features several new talents making their debut, adding to the fresh yet familiar energy of the story.

The film is co-produced by Iggy Ignatius who is also the co-director of the film. Doctors from America want to repay the debt to the soil by serving the citizens of motherland India – Dr. Shah

New Delhi :  India’s first World Peace Center established in Gurugram, holds Pre-inaugural event with Navkar Mantra chanting and worship was completed in the holy presence of  founder of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti Jain Acharya Lokesh Ji, Vivek Muni Ji, Kshullak Yogabhushan. A team of doctors in the leadership of world renowned Dr. Nitin Shah, Los Angeles, USA, conducted medical examination of the large number of people present in the free medical checkup camp and gave them advice.

Renowned Jain Acharya and founder of World Peace Center, Acharya Lokeshji on this occasion said that from this center, many initiatives for world peace and harmony, programs based on peace education and training, personality building through meditation and yoga, women empowerment, culture building of children and youth, environment protection etc. based on Indian culture and Jain lifestyle are conducted. A grand inauguration program of the World Peace Center will be organized this year in the presence of world famous religious leaders, social workers, industrialists, educationists, etc. from various fields.

World renowned Dr. Nitin Shah said that in the free health checkup camp organized by Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti organization, more than 500 people, including women and children, got their health checkups done and they were also provided free medicines and equipment. He said that doctors from America want to repay the debt to the soil by serving the citizens of motherland India.

It is noteworthy that under the leadership of Jain Acharya Lokesh ji, the foundation stone of India’s first World Peace Center was laid in Gurugram in April 2022. Today, with the help of distinguished social workers spread across the country and the world, this seven-storey building has been completed. The building has provision for Sant Niwas, Yoga and Wellness Centre, restaurant, auditorium, parking, as well as passenger accommodation.

On this occasion, special associates Mr. Abhay Kumar Jain, Mr. Shrimal from Chennai, Mr. Prakash Dhariwal from Pune, Mr. Sukhraj Nahar from Mumbai, Mr. Dilip Chandan from Mumbai, Mr. Vinod Duggad from Calcutta, Dr. Anil V Shah from America and Mr. Manubhai Shah who provided very special contribution in the construction of the building were remembered.
