The ceremony was presided over by Shri Madan Dilawar, Hon’ble Minister for Education, Government of Rajasthan, while Dr. Prem Chand Bairwa, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan, graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour. The event recognised philanthropists and individuals who have made remarkable contributions towards education and social welfare.
Dr. Kila received this honour for his continued contribution towards the development of Rajasthan, his support to the education sector, his efforts in connecting the Rajasthani diaspora with social causes, and his dedicated service towards students, patients, and underprivileged families.
For Dr. Kila, social service has always been a lifelong commitment. For over three decades, he has been actively contributing to the MYM initiative, under which a student hostel is operated in Delhi for students from Rajasthan. The hostel provides accommodation, meals and guidance, enabling students to pursue quality education in a safe and supportive environment.
For over two decades, he has also been actively supporting patients from Rajasthan who travel to Delhi for specialised medical treatment. His initiatives include arranging accommodation and meals for patients and their attendants, as well as extending support by providing free medicines to those in need.
Since 2017, Dr. Kila has been associated with BDSN Akshay Seva, through which free meals are served outside major hospitals in Delhi. More than 2,000 people are provided with free meals every day under this initiative, benefiting patients, attendants and other needy individuals.
On receiving the honour, Dr. Kila expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Government of Rajasthan, the Department of Education, the dignitaries present at the ceremony, and all his well-wishers. He said that the award is a matter of immense honour and inspiration for him and reaffirmed his commitment to continue working for education, social service and the welfare of those in need.
The Vishisht Bhamashah Samman 2026 is not only a recognition of Dr. Kila’s individual contribution but also a proud moment for the Rajasthani diaspora, social workers, philanthropists and everyone working towards the causes of education and humanitarian service.
Heartiest congratulations and best wishes to CA (Dr.) Ramawatar Kila on being conferred with the prestigious Vishisht Bhamashah Samman 2026.
