He further stated that if India is to regain its position as a Vishwaguru, every section of society must be included in the nation’s progress. For this, a calm mind, disciplined lifestyle, and healthy body are essential, and yoga plays a crucial role in achieving these goals. He emphasized that senior citizens are invaluable assets to society, repositories of experience, and sources of inspiration for younger generations. Their health and active participation in life set a positive example for future generations. Yoga, he said, is a simple yet highly effective means of achieving this and should become an integral part of everyone’s daily routine.

Ms. Gargi Ji, Director of VridhCare Foundation, highlighted the importance of yoga in the lives of elderly individuals living in old age homes, drawing upon her extensive experience in the field.
